Once again Middle America demonstrates just how bigoted it can be. This time it’s the Coppers of Cleveland Ohio, who just couldn’t help themselves from tormenting a local gay couple. After arresting the couple in the middle of the night they apparently refused to let them get dressed, proudly declaring in their most heterosexual of voices: “Faggots don’t deserve to wear pants in jail.”… I wonder…What would I have to do in jail to ‘earn’ my pants back?
Jonathan Simcox and Steven Ondo told the FOX8 network they were suing police officers for use of “excessive force and undisguised prejudice” during their arrest.
Apparently it all started a week earlier when the ‘faggots’ were heading home. It would seem their gay date had not been the roaring success they had hoped for, ending with them arguing rather loudly in the street. An off duty Pig- I mean police officer- who lived on the road quickly came to investigate.
Simcox told FOX8: “He came out over shouting, saying, ‘Shut up, you’re disturbing the peace’.”
“I pushed to get past him, as soon as I did that he knocked me on the ground, and just started beating me, hitting me, standing over top of me, and punching me repeatedly.”
I’ve always said, ‘the best way to restore peace is violence.’
After allegedly receiving a beating for ‘disturbing the peace’ the gay couple were arrested and subsequently released.
A week later in the dead of night, the Officer returned…With re-enforcements! This time they were detained on assault charges relating to that incident. Being the middle of the night, the couple were only in their kex.
Simcox’s brother, who was present at the scene, asked if he could bring their clothes but was allegedly told: “You can go get them shoes, but faggots don’t deserve to wear pants in jail.”
Our poor, cock loving couple say it was a day before they were reunited with their trousers, and they went on to be cleared of the assault charge.
Surely this kind of blatant homophobia can’t happen without the culprits being severely punished? It’s not like this happened in Uganda? We can only hope that this was an isolated case and that the rest of the force frowns upon the actions of this small group of Neanderthals. But I somehow doubt this will be the case.
