Oh dear, it would seem Enders has pissed off one of its more famous fans. George Michael Has been furiously tweeting his disapproval of the way gays are being portrayed in the show. Apparently they are not correctly representing the happy gay dating community… Hello? It’s Walford? If you’ve not been shot, ran over, abused, pimped out, addicted to drugs, homeless or fucked by Phill Mitchell then you generally get written out. Theres nothing ‘happy’ about Albert Square.
Michael was all over Twitter like it was an anonymous cock poking him in the face while having a shit in a public toilet: “The relationship between Sayed and Christian is the most insulting piece of bullshit on British television right now.”…Not been watching X-Factor then.
His dirty little digits went on to type: “Insulting to the gay community, insulting to the Muslim community, and in the meantime, terrifying every gay child that is struggling to come to terms with their sexuality, and the prospect of coming out to their family, whatever their religion.
“So far, Christian has been beaten up 3 times that I can remember, and is now accused of child molestation. Sayed has been disowned and is now mistreating his partner shamelessly, presumably because he is now a confused bisexual after all…Total fucking bullshit.”
Unsurprisingly they still don’t have a patch on you George. How many times have you been to prison now?
The star continued: “Life in London is a wonderful thing for so many gay and lesbian people these days, and I know that there are gay people involved in the writing of the show but they really need to rethink their approach to gay ‘issues’. They are scaring the shit out of children everywhere.”
Oh get off your high horse George. What a boring show EastEnders would be if everyone lived happy wonderful lives. People watch to see these ruined characters conflicting with one another and muck up everything they hold dear to them. Surely that’s the point of a soap opera.
I happen to think team EastEnders are doing a fantastic job at highlighting gay issues to the mainstream and hope they continues to do so. I think it’s a brave move to have a 15 year old come out on the show and I find the Phil/ Ben relationship quite touching.
And anyway…How can we take this tirade seriously when you practically ram raided Snappy Snaps in a druggy fuelled joyride. Ever wondered what influence your irresponsible actions and their subsequent consequences might be having on the ‘gay kids’? Thought not, now shut the fuck up and enjoy the show…
